We started working with GlobalTera about a year ago, and in that time, they have already signed several Gold and Silver partners in Brazil and successfully executed multiple large-scale projects with end customers. In this conversation, André Trocoli from DISPL talked with GlobalTera leaders Bruno Lyra and Bruno Moreira about their journey, insights, and strategies for success.
André Trocoli: Bruno, tell us how GlobalTera started and how it evolved over the years.
Bruno Lyra: We've been in business for 12 years, initially focusing on IT support, mainly for gas stations. Over time, we expanded into convenience stores, supermarkets, and wholesalers. We started with basic IT support, then moved into automation, PR solutions, and now audience analytics. That’s where DISPL comes in—it was a perfect fit for the Brazilian market, where we saw a big gap for this type of solution.
André Trocoli: What trends are shaping retail in Brazil, and how does technology fit into this evolution?
Bruno Lyra: Retail is traditional, but it’s evolving. One of the biggest trends is the need to understand customer behavior. Most retailers don’t know much about their foot traffic, how their store layout affects sales, or how to engage customers effectively. Technology, especially audience analytics, is changing that.

André Trocoli: Bruno Moreira, you discovered DISPL. How did that happen?
Bruno Moreira: When I joined GlobalTera two years ago, I knew we needed to expand into retail, supermarkets, and shopping malls. I was doing research online and came across a DISPL ad on Instagram. After our first meeting, it was clear that this was the solution we needed for Brazil. DISPL was a love at first sight, because we understood that the technology is a great product-market fit.

André Trocoli: What stood out about DISPL that made you decide to partner with us?

Bruno Moreira: We took a strategic approach. First, we focused on industries we know well—gas stations, convenience stores, and supermarkets. Then, we identified ten key retail sectors, from shopping malls to beauty salons, and started onboarding partners in each. This ensures we have experts in every segment to help grow the solution.
André Trocoli: What challenges did you face when implementing DISPL, and how did you overcome them?
Bruno Moreira: The biggest challenge was helping clients take a step-by-step approach. Many wanted to implement everything at once, which can be overwhelming. We had to guide them to focus on the basics first—tracking visitor data and optimizing layouts—before expanding into more advanced features.
André Trocoli: Tell us about the Quick Pilot strategy and how it’s helping you win more deals.
Bruno Moreira: We realized that big clients take too long to sign contracts because of all the internal approvals. To speed things up, we introduced Quick Pilot, where clients get a free one-month trial before discussing pricing.

André Trocoli: What advice would you give to other DISPL partners looking to introduce this technology in their markets?
Bruno Moreira: My biggest advice? Understand your customers before selling. After my first call with DISPL, I met with supermarket owners to get their thoughts. Before you sign a partnership, talk to potential clients, identify their challenges, and make sure DISPL is the right fit for them.
